Chicago North Shore Chinese Center Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival


On September 22nd, the Chicago North Shore Chinese Center held a Mid-Autumn Festival picnic in northern Chicago. To enjoy the final beauty of the summer, the celebration takes place in an outdoor picnic at Lovelace Park in Evanston, north of Chicago. From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, hundreds of students, parents and social friends from the Chicago North Shore Chinese Center attended the celebration and had an unforgettable celebration.

The celebrations prepared a variety of moon cakes, so that each guest ate the first moon cake of this year at the first minute. Every holiday the homesickness amplifies, and everyone felt the thick atmosphere in the big family of Chicago North Shore Chinese Center. At the celebration, each of the parents showed their culinary skills and brought a special dish to serve everyone with the colorful food. The event was sponsored by nine sponsors, and the festival's celebrations were full of drinks, fruits, and prizes, pushing the event to a big success.
